My subject is the daughter of the young lady who posed for White Bird Tying Her shoe (see Retrospective Gallery 6) twenty-five years ago.  Her mother did most of the bead and quill work on Luana's dress.  The traditional vertical pipe breastplate she wears dates from the 19th century.
